Lance Corporal, 201951. 'C' Coy. 2nd/4th Battalion. The Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, who died on Friday 26th October 1917. aged 22 years.

Son of Ellen Gamble, of Marsh Lane, Longton, Preston, Lancs., and the late Pte Robert Gamble (Rifle Brigade).
